When coaches have healthy marriages, finances & family atmospheres, they are better able to invest in students they coach.
Helping Coaches Coach is a nonprofit that focuses on providing free resources to athletic coaches and their spouses, so they can be a positive influence on their student athletes, developing critical leadership and life skills in them. Statistically, we know that the campus culture is influenced by the student athlete. If we are able to positively influence those athletes, we can impact the entire campus. In today’s culture, coaches have often become the surrogate parent.
We want to equip coaches to succeed both personally and professionally.
What We Do:
Coaches spend hours investing in and training others. Our focus is on doing the same for you. When we invest in your marriage and personal growth, it allows you to better invest in others. Our Helping Coaches Coach Retreat is a free, all-inclusive 3 day, 2 night stay at Jordan Ranch with your spouse where you’ll focus on your marriage, your finances, and leadership training. What People Are Saying:
“G.F. Watkins and Wade Hopkins have hit a grand slam, scored the winning touchdown, and hit the game winning basket – all of them with the Helping Coaches Coach program.”
— Don Clayton, Head Coach Cinco Ranch HS
“As the superintendent of a large school district and as a professional educator with nearly 30 years of experience in public education, I am keenly aware of the types of challenges that many of our students and parents are experiencing in their daily lives. The activities and services provided for families and young people at the Jordan Ranch Retreat Center could certainly benefit them as they struggle to deal with the uncertainties with which they are confronted.”
